The broadband speed has been steadily increasing for consumers and, at the same time, 5G has pushed the wireless connection speeds to new heights. We are starting to connect increasing amount of devices to each other to create value for our daily lives. We play online games and stream movies and music. But most of the time, we are still only using fraction of the potential flow of data and information. The metaverse, 4K video and real-time AI are coming to our homes – but what are the value adding use cases for them? What might be the use cases that enable us to utilise the full potential of high-speed connections in our homes? Why would we be interested in paying more for faster connections?
